Fun way for kids to basic maths. App is neatly designed , good theme and graphic.Background sound is also good and has very nice illustrations. But wrong answer is too far from right answer so little easy to guess. The update has made significant improvement over certain bugs.

(Update) This app is a great alternative to math flash cards or speed drills. Both fun and educational, spinlight never disappoints

One of the greatest things i could do was download this game, i inmediately fell in love with it and i could not imagine myself not playing with it as it is helping me learn a lot of new stuff.

Even adults will have fun playing this game! I love how you have a choice of problems. It’s really helped my oldest with his math facts. He’ll be playing this game for years.

This is an educational app that does help with maths skills. However it seeks to be also entertaining and to educate whilst entertaining and in that respect I find that it is not successful as the game that you play is slow and with a very annoying soundtrack.

I'm glad we're living in this technological age. Apps like this are so handy to get the kids to practice maths without boring them. It's easy to use and kids can play with it at the same time!

Very nice and gives enough problems to help kids learn their 4 important math. Kids love to play too, they race each other and see who can get the top first.

This game is very helpful for kids learning their addition,subtraction,multiplication, and division. It gives you a bunch of problems and you have to answer correctly to help the guy to the top.

The game has it all! It's gorgeous to look at, great responsive action, fun music and does what it's suppose to, teach times tables in an engaging way. It reminds me if the old game on The Price is Right. My one caveat is both my children loved it at first but then refused to play it. They found the speed of play stressful and it bothered them to see their yodeler fall off a cliff. So, great game but not for us, wish that it was... :)

This game is exactly what I need for my daughter to practice her math skills - engaging, rewarding, and encouraging her to be fast without stressing her out. Except for one problem - the alternate answers are not close to the right answer (5+4 will have answer options of 97, 54, 32, 9, and 80). This makes the game easy to cheat at, and now that my daughter has realized that we can no longer play because it stresses her out to try and not cheat. Please fix this quirk so we can enjoy the game again! Thanks!

My 8 year old son and I love this game. I would have never imagined him wanting to acually play a math game. He usually answers the math questions while I stay on the lookout for the rams and bonus point targets. This app developer has some other really good apps too.

Let me say that this game fully deserves five stars, before I make some recommendations that might make the game even better. In general, the game should be a bit more customizable. Players can choose which function (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or all four), but a few more options would be even better: 1) An options to turn the music on/off 2) An option to choose the number of wrong answers before the climber drops off the cliff. As it is now, the game ends after 15 or so wrong answers. This is a good default, but it makes for a fairly long game - 5 minutes or more. if the player could make the game shorter or longer by choosing the number of wrong answers , that might make the game more fun, and also more “shareable” - kids could watch each other play if a game were shorter. 3) An option to determine the speed of the timer. Players have about 3 seconds to answer correctly before a penalty is assessed. Again, this is a good default, but some players might like a bit more time (if working with new arithmetic functions) or less time (to make a more exciting game.) 4) Make the climber a girl, if the player is a girl - and the little obstacles that appear later could be boys if the player is a girl? Just a thought. These suggestions do not imply that the game is anything less than well-made and terrific fun. Great job! We like all the Spinlight apps.
